Service Fees

Chiropractic care, physiotherapy, massage therapy, kinesiology, psychology counseling, social work, and orthobiologic treatments are not covered by OHIP. Some of these services may be partially or fully covered by extended health insurance plans. The coverage for each carrier is different; please check your plan to see what coverage is available for the type of service you are seeking.

Direct billing to the extended health insurance carrier is not provided at our clinic. Our clinic will provide patients with a receipt so they can claim the services through their health insurance provider for reimbursement.

Patients will be charged a fee for treatments that are not covered by extended health insurance plans. Please refer to the “Fee Schedule” section to find the treatment fees for different services offered at our clinic.

Methods of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express or debit card payment. For treatments not covered by OHIP, you will be charged after each session.
Cancellation Policy
We require 2 business days' notice for all cancellations or rescheduling requests without penalty. Otherwise, a cancellation fee of $50 may apply. We reserve the right to decline your referral in case of repeated no-shows or cancellations.

How to Prepare

Bring your Ontario Health Card or Health Insurance Plan information
For services not covered by OHIP, you will be required to pay for your treatment after services have been rendered. We accept payment by credit card and debit only.
Bring a list of your current medications
Bring your completed pre-visit questionnaires, if applicable
Please wear comfortable, loose fitting clothing such as a t-shirt, sweatpants or shorts and comfortable shoes to your appointment
Please do not use any lotion, Vaseline, or oils on your skin on the day of your appointment

Parking

University Centre does not have its own parking lot. However, there are several public parking garages close by, including on Murray Street (directly behind University Centre).

Street parking is restricted on the streets around our hospitals. Some street parking is available on nearby side streets. Please read parking signs carefully.

Frequent patients, families, and visitors of Toronto Rehab - University Centre are eligible for discounted parking rates at UHN's 201 Elizabeth Street lot, behind Toronto General. See Parking at UHN more information.
